Where's Edgey? Where's Edgey?

Rated 4 / 5 stars February 9, 2008

Insensitive. But hilarious.

I remember it from Family Guy, but the animation you did to go with it was great and me it an enjoyable flash. Good job :D

Wow.

At first I didn't have high hopes for this. But it amazed me, truly. Funniest thing I've seen in quite awhile. It really was pretty messed up, but that added to it. Great job.

Funny

Pretty hilarious, good job!

The graphics were good, and the quality of the sound clips were pretty good as well.

Good stuff

Kind of reminds me of jetman or the helicopter game, only a little more skill is required. I like it! Well done.

Fun!

I liked it, pretty original idea.

Shouldn't have skipped through your comments as the instructions in the game aren't that great. Doesn't take very long to understand the purpose though..

I like it!

Cloverfield : The Game Cloverfield : The Game

Rated 1.5 / 5 stars February 11, 2008

Well..

I love Cloverfield and it's great that you're making a game for it. However there are a few things I'd like to note.

The graphics were sketchy, I liked the graphic of the monster but the city buildings were a little awkward looking a the crosshair was pretty weird too, the graphics on it kept lagging behind when I would try to move it.

Also it'd be better of the timer were an actual second counter or something, the flashing bar is kind of hard to look at and understand exactly how much time you have left. Maybe throw in some more levels or ways to increase your time or something like that a little variety and it'd be a pretty neat game!

Keep it up!

Not bad.

It's pretty good. I like the beat.

The only real complain I have is that there are points where lots of instruments play on top of each other.. and they just don't sound that great together. I would probably try to clean it up some there.

Piano At Shore (Monkey Island) Piano At Shore (Monkey Island)

Nostalgic!

Monkey Island is one of the very first video games I ever remember playing and to this day is probably one of the funniest games I've ever played. It's really a great game.

I've always loved the music with the game, it had a really great soundtrack, something a lot of games back then were missing. So anyways, it was nice to hear this and get those memories back.

I don't know how I feel about the piano portion you added in, the part that starts around 02:00. It's a nice tune, but I don't feel like it goes with the rest of the song very well, it's kind of peppy and lighthearted, like something you would hear on The Sims, not something that would come across as a pirate song.. then again I guess Guybrush wasn't much of a pirate anyways.

Anyways, still a great tune. Good job!

So true ! Most games today want a High-End-PC and deliver just a Low-Idea-Game with Up-To-Date-GFX and nothing new :( Monkey Island in VGA just took about 4 MB and was (and still is) a lot more entertaining than recent games. Anyway...

The tune that starts at around 2:00 is the second original theme...(it's when the talking begins on top of that mountain, and that old blind man tells him to seek the pirate leader^^). Just before that is a tiny bridge...thats made by me ;)
And you are right: Michael Land really transported that "wannabe-pirate" feeling into that melody.

Thanks for listening, thinking about & telling me !!! Keep it up ;)
